The story of VeMoo
After many years of learning about climate change and the impact of mobility, the team is convinced that we need to act quickly to protect the climate. Mobility is a sector that needs to reinvent itself to move away from its dependence on oil.
Our vision is that mobility must become much lighter if it is to be sustainable, economical and accessible to all.
With this conviction and thanks to their experience and capacity for innovation, Arnaud and Sébastien have joined forces to offer a new solution for individual mobility needs in a low-energy world.
Beginning of the project
7 years after working together on public transport projects, Sébastien and Arnaud got back in touch with a shared desire to develop a vehicle for individual mobility.
Patent registration
After months of research and development, the first patent was filed.
Field survey
A web questionnaire was conducted with over 400 respondents, followed by around twenty interviews with potential customers.
1st Prototype
Completion of the 1st prototype named "ANANAS" and first wheel turns.
Alexandre joins the team
Having followed the project from the beginning, Alexandre joined the team to take care of the administrative and financial side.
Foundation of the company
The project took shape and VeMoo SAS was registered.
Incubation at SEMIA
After 3 months of fast-track training, the project was accepted for individual incubation at SEMIA, an incubator in the Quest For Change network.
Capital increase
Carrying out a capital increase with close relations.
Hiring Alexandre
The design office expands with the recruitment of Alexandre, a CAD engineer.
2nd Prototype
Assembly of our 2nd prototype called "BANANA".
Two additional employees
The design office doubles its workforce with the arrival of Victor and Maxime.
2nd Prototype upgrade
The "Banana" prototype has been improved and cased.
